The Joint Committee of Inquiry into the Banking Crisis today discussed with the Houses of the Oireachtas Service a Protected Disclosure and has been legally advised that the Houses of the Oireachtas Service is the appropriate authority to address this issue.<\/p>\n
The Acting Clerk of the D\u00e1il has already instigated a process of investigation. This investigation is a separate process from the Banking Inquiry and will be conducted by the Houses of the Oireachtas Service and the Office of the Acting Clerk of the D\u00e1il.<\/p>\n
