Oireachtas Banking Inquiry Chairman to meet CPPs of Dáil and Seanad

Chairman of the Committee of Inquiry into the Banking Crisis Ciarán Lynch will meet with the Committees on Procedure and Privileges of Dáil and Seanad Éireann to discuss the Committee’s relevant proposal, which includes a framework for the inquiry plan, the different phases of the inquiry and its draft terms of reference.

Deputy Lynch said: “I’m looking forward to engaging with the Dáil CPP today and with the Seanad CPP tomorrow to discuss the proposal we submitted on 26th September. The proposal, which is publicly available on the Oireachtas website, is currently being considered by the CPPs and is expected to be returned to the Houses within the coming weeks.”
