Banking Inquiry publishes statements from non-attending witnesses

The Oireachtas Banking Inquiry has this afternoon published witness statements received from a range of non-attending witnesses.

The statements published are responses to directions issued by the Committee with a series of questions to those witnesses not currently scheduled to appear before the Committee. These witnesses worked within the banking sector, financial services and property development firms during the lead-in to the banking crisis.

This is the first batch of statements with two remaining batches likely to be published online in the coming weeks. The 14 statements published today can be accessed here.
