Kieran O’Donnell

kieran-ODonnellDeputy Kieran O’Donnell is a Fine Gael TD for the Limerick City constituency. He was elected to the Dáil in the Limerick East constituency in 2007 and re-elected in his current constituency in February 2011. Deputy O’Donnell began by working as his party’s deputy spokesperson on finance, with special responsibility for freedom of information, procurement reform and the office of public works before taking on the role of deputy spokesperson on enterprise, trade and innovation with special responsibility for enterprise and employment. He is currently a member of the Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform Public Accounts Committees.

Prior to his entry into national politics, Deputy O’Donnell was elected to Limerick County Council in 2004 where he is a member of the Planning and Transport Strategic Policy Committees.

Deputy O’Donnell graduated from University of Limerick with a degree in business studies before qualifying as an accountant and setting up his own practice.
